As a new starter in computing career the skills train has given me a full moral support to start the career in IT. The IT sector is completly different subject to my bachelors or masters degree subject. It is a little bit difficult to get into the course. But I gained 97% in my first TMA. I worked hard for that, by doing a full time job in the food processing sector.I have finished my second TMA aswell in the same pressure. I hope I will get a better result compare to the first. I would like to thank you for providing such good material, that is easily to understand for the everday people like me. I am currently doing CCNA course now. I am full-time worker in one of the telecommunication company. I already finished an university degree but CCNA is very helpfull for my long team plans. I have completed A+ and N+ and will be finish it on time. Working and studying is very hard but I can do it. Thanks to skills train, they are doing a fantastic job. I HAVE BEEN DOING VERY WELL JUST SENT MY TMA 8 IN, AND I HAVE ONLY BEEN DOING THE COURSE 5 MONTHS. I AM STARTING TO HELP MY FRIEND WITH BUILDING PC SO THAT AS HELPED ALOT. I have been under a lot of pressure as the month begun,so much so that I have wanted give up,pressure from work and family {because I need to support my other half and our new born baby}. Anyway I finally made up my mind to keep up with the course inspite of the pressures, now here I am keeping up with my assignments,it was a tough decision, but it was worth it. I think this Skillstrain course is the best thing I have ever decided to do. So far from a slightly slow start mainly due to finding my way around the system (as I have never done anything remotely like this before) I am managing to achieve very good results 100% and I intend to keep to that from now on. Thank you to all at Skillstrain your courses are well structured and I believe anyone with enthusiasm and determination can achieve amazing results. I was in IT training back home(India) but since I have been in the U.K. I haave lost touch of my technical skills. I started working in the retail but its really not my cup of tea working in retail has never given me any kind of satisfaction. Finally I found skills train .... and now I am back in to the field I love to work and this is giving me a great satisfaction.... I am hoping to pass my A+ as well as CCNA with great success with the help of Skills Train... I am on my third assignmant I started the course about a month ago I could only work a PC and use the internet but now I can set a new laptop up and my own PC which I thought that it would of take me about six months to do. On my first assignmant I got 53% and once I had resubmitted it I got 100%, then on my second assignmant I got 77%. I am now working very hard to get 100% again for my third assignmant. I have really gained a lot in the 4 weeks because I have been able to design a time table for myself, during which I was able to complete 4 chapters from the part A of my course(core hardware). I have worked in catering, selling Cornish pasties and I have had to decided to go for a better job. I went for a group interview to John Lewis, and I got a full time job on TV/AUDIO where I am selling computers. After 1 week I was told that I am a very good employee. I feel this is a great achievement. I left school with no qualificatoins and this course gave me confidence to study it gave me the chance to do a course that I always wanted to do. I have continued to complete my course with a 90% and 2 100% marks in TMAs 1,2 and 3 respectively after dealing with a loss of a friend to leukemia and the loss of my job.I have also managed to potentially find a job with a new company being setup in computer hardware and networking which will compliment my course perfectly once I complete it! I have achieved 93% and above on my last 3 TMA`s which is worth celebrating for me. I was concerned that the course would be too difficult for me, but with the amount of study I have done, it seems that if you try hard enough you can achieve almost anything. TMA01 - 100%, TMA02 -93, TMA03 -93%.
