Have recently got a new job as a network technician with no experience thanks to the skills I have already learned in the first few units of my N+ and the knowledge of what I will be capable of when I have completed my CCNA and CCNP

Even though I am working full time seven days a week, I have managed to continue the study and still doing it with very good success. I have done graduation in computers in 2002 considering that I haven't been in touch with computer studies I think I have done great. hope I can continue achieving my study goal and ultimately leading to a lot better job which would be a dream come true for me. thanks.

At the moment I have to work almost 24/7, because I've got 8 months old baby and my wife back to work, so we have to work and look after baby together. But at this time I can manage my time well, I can find time to do my course and on top of that last three months I developed 2 programs for my company, which one of them is helping Restaurants Managers with forecasting and second one they can use for checking cashiers performance on daily basic. In both programs I used Excel and Visual Basic for Applications

In the last couple of months I have been under a lot of pressure with my full time job working nearly twelve hours a day, seven days a week but still manage to do and submit my assignments.when I started the course I knew just a little bit about IT, but has gained a lot of knowledge on the course so far through my dedicated study with the time available to me.

Well for me July has been a real significant month. As for one I have dusted my Skills train resources and gotten back on my study saddle. I will confess to haven been complacent in the past few months and even contemplated cancelling my subscription to the skillstrain programme. Then it suddenly struck me that I joined this course to gain something, Knowledge. And more importantly Knowledge that was going to equip me with vital skills to further my potential.

Considering I am currently enrolled in a full-time Masters programme my adversity, left me mostly disgruntled and irritable. First my academic challenges, then work, then having to search and finally move house( with the right budget in mind). However in the midst of it all I never got around to making that fatal call to Skillstrain admin to say "I am pulling the plug", No! I kept up with my payments every 4th of the month and each passing payment kept my critical receptors constantly spinning, rationalising each payment and justifying it to my subconscious. Then it happened, my computer decided to give me a hand. It would intermittently fail to boot. I was frustrated and the thought of having to go to a technician meant costs, time and inconvenience. Luxuries I just could not afford. Then it hit me I picked up my PC HARDWARE AND MAITENANCE ESSENTIALS manual and I ran the trouble shoot and entered Control+Alt+ Delete . It turned out my power supply was faulty and was able to buy sometime until payday and purchased a better engineered one with the help of an in-store technician and installed it, I am proud to say, all by myself.

Any way the rest they say is detail, as I by that very "divine" encounter with my computer, have sorted my second and third TMAs all in one month: Incredible. I hoping to have two more done in the next two weeks. To think I came this close to loosing it all. Like the saying goes, you never know what you have till you loose it. For me it is you never know what you have till you need it. I am fired up more than ever and I guess all the persistence and keeping faith with my hunches to sign on to the course in the first place, paid off.

After getting 90% on my first test I feel that I have studied very hard to get to that level. I have also been explaining small amounts to my partner and she has started to also get a understanding with the basics.

My partner has just had a baby and its been difficult with a new born around but I have been working really hard to try and catch up with my course over the last month or so, and I am really starting to enjoy the N+ course, probably because its all stuff that I dont know and that I WANT to learn it.

I want to use this medium to express my profound gratitude to all staff and members of Skill train for the supports they have impacted in me all these while. I am now capable to troubleshooting any problems that May arise within and around the computer system so also, I have been able to achieved tremendously in my TMA's. I will say again, I have been able to solved most of my friends, relatives and colleagues personal computer problems even without finishing my course yet. This is so great as I become really confident of myself to solving major problems whenever it comes to computer faults. Having achieve all these within the shortest period of time,I want to say categorically, that I will come out in flying colours at the end of my course by God's grace. Once again, thank you all.

Skills Train Comptia A+ training is really helpful. Before I couldn't get my head around networking but studying 220-602(A+B) has helped me quiet a lot. I feel really confident that this study material will get me through the examination as well as in my professional life. Thanks Skills Train.

Becoming an IT student with skillstrain is like "mana" has come over me ,and my family. We have four computers in the house.386DX, Pentium MMX, Celeron, PentiumDual-core.I did not know anything about the workings of the computers,if they don't work, buy another, but I always saved the old computers. In just one month with "Skillstrain PC Hardware and maintenance-Essentials" I can tell you what kind of Processors my old computers have what the problem was, cause I have fixed it, or used for showing the grand kids the inner workings of the computer. So hopefully you will have two more students in the future. I can wait for the next "sec1partB-Essentials.
