I helped my mate to use a computer for his counselling course, and I showed my little brother how to use microsoft word. I have achieved much higher results than I was expecting and my confidence working with computers has incresed a lot and I have learned so much in such a short time. I never expected to enjoy learning so much and I can't wait until I finish the course and get into a job I will really enjoy. WHEN I FIRST STARTED I ONLY KNEW HOW TO SWITCH A COMPUTER ON, NOW I KNOW WHATS INSIDE AS WELL. I have already sent my achivements, but I would like to add some information. All of my sent TMAs of N+ Part A (TMA01-08 at the moment) have been marked 100%, individually! I am very happy with that, shows the result of my hard study, gives me more strenght to carry on and keeps me positive. Having bounced back from a turbulant previous 7-8 mths due to fasle accusations aimed at Skillstrain ..I am back in full flight of continuing my course... having just received my latest assigment mark for CCNA of 95% Firstly, I thank your team for the opportunity to let me share with you what I have achieved since I began this course. It has not been easy maintaining my perfomance along side with my other studies (PhD), as well as earning a living, however I still find it a challenge to over come these tasks, and whenever an assignment is completed I can't wait to proceed to the next level as authorised by tutor.I hope my experience will be of courage to my fellow studnts as it is to our tutors. I lost my husband in IRAQ this course gave me something to hang onto. Seeing the student website and having a sense of wanting to achieve something has kept me going I did have my ups and downs and the tutors have been great and understanding by letting me have my course time extended. Considering that I did not know much about networking it has to be rather hard but very rewarding when you get your marks back and do well like I have. You might have to resubmit your work but it is worth it in the end, With a little help from the tutor team I was able to get my computers networked together, and this is avery good achievement for me. I had not done any thing like this before and it felt good when it was working alright Getting 100% in my first TMA also with what I learnt about the trouble-shooting models. I put into practice at work when the restaurant's P.O.S network went down and when the online restaurant booking system would not work. Here I used the Comp TIA's netwok+ trouble-shooting model to fix the problem. Since starting my my new job 5 month ago with virgin media broadband as a 1st line technical support, it has been really tough going by trying to get time to do my studing and work the unsociable hours for the company at same time. some times after a tough day dealing with the public shouting at you on phones because there internet is off or mistreated by someone else, I have had to pick up the pieces and then try to study my N+ course, which I have eventually succeed in the last assignment of book C. The pressure gets to you every day as there is not enough time in the day to fit everything in, but I always try to make the effort, even after having the car crash which some days I feel not up to doing the college work, but I'm determeined and still want to achieve my goal. The IT department are willing to train me up aswell by doing shadowing in my own time to get extra experience and to help me with the course. So I feel this has been a good achievement in my part under all circumstances. Snowed under with work, almost working 24/7 have been able some how to still get able to get course work done I suffered a left sided paralyzing stroke the next day after the london bombing in July 05. until nowI'm still desperately recovering. although my left hand and foot are still not completely ok. my mind is still doing ok and struggled and really did my best to make the most of whatI have in life henceI decided to study in this cyber college. I will make it through. I know I will.
