I am currently taking my Gcse Mocks at school I have achieved my targets in them and have set higher targets for myself as well as getting my tutor marked assignments done. During my time as a IT Student at college I had no idea of where my IT career would take me, After finsihing college and passing all my courses I had a good through understanding of computers and networks, this gave me the confidence, skills and knowlegde needed to develop futher. Not knowing what to do I approched skills train which helped me with making a decision about where I was going with my IT career. Skills train then gave me all the guidaness and information I needed to develop further in this field. I have now started the A+ course and with my current knowledge and skills of computing I am now able to say that thanks to skills train I will complete this course with full condifdence and will achieve the best results possible. As for progressing on futher I am now able to also look for employment with a updated CV and able to sell my self to employers knowing what is needed for this field at the moment after being guided from skills train. After sucessfully completing the A+ I will be moving on to N+ and by this time I would have hopefully put my foo into the IT industry as a Engineer working to develop and gain some expirence. With my current timetable of also doing maths and english and being employed as a customer service assistant at Sainsburys I am able to continue with my course as I am able to work under pressure and come out with good results as this shows on my first tutor marked assignment. Skills train have been excellent in giving me a boost and helping me make a decsion about where I want to take my IT carreer and how far I want to go. the tutors have all got a background knowledge of my current skills and expertise in IT and have helped me as a new student with skills train to complete work andhelp with any trouble I have. I hope to achieve all my goals during my time at Skills train and hope to pass both courses with full confidence and also seek employment for further development and expirence which skills train will give me as they have done so far. When I started the the course I had no i.t skills whatsoever.now after 2 weeks of studying I have gained a 90% mark on my first tutor marked assignment, and I am now able to show friends and family how to use a p.c. I HAVE BEEN ILL FOR THE LAST TWO WEEK AS THE PAIN GET UNBEARABLE I HAVE NOW GOT BACK TO MY COURSE AND CHATCH UP ALSO SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING I WAS NEVER ANY GOOD AT IT . I HAVE GOT ALL THE STUFF I NEED TO GET ABOUT SO I CAN GET ABOUT MY HOME NOW PICK ME FOR STUDENT OF THE I CANT AFFORD A NEW COMPUTER AS MIND HAS BROKEN DOWN I AM LEND ONE FROM NEXT DOOR I HAVE GREAT HARDNESS TO GET AS MY HIPS ARE VERY PAINFUL AT THE MOMENT THIS BAD WETHER IS NOT HELPING MATTERS . ANY WAY THAT THE LOT ABOUT MY ILLNESS I AM FINDING IT HARD TO SET DOWN TO DO WORK ON MY COURSE AS I CANT SIT LONG TIMES THAT IT FOR NOW. I got 100% on my tutor marked assignment 01 and I got 77% on my tutor marked assignment 02 I am very very happy with theses marks it has been hard with me been a full time chef on shifs After christmas I started a new job and incorporating a new revision sessions and submitting my tutor mark assignments was hard. I am getting home after Six and having hardly any energy to study and no consentration to be able to do the assignments. For the first time since a started this computer trainning I can now see a future within the industry and was confident enough to help my sister with her computer as I knew nothing reguarding computers before I started this course. Since enrolling with the skills train, I have now fully understand how computers and network functions in the morthern world of computers. On many occations I have help some people to solved certain problems with their computers, and assist them in connecting to the networks (ISP). I think I have achieved a lot. thanks to the team of tuttors. HAVING BEEN AWAY FROM STUDY FOR A LOT OF YEARS I FEEL THAT THE RESULTS I HAVE GOT FROM MY TMAS ARE GOOD I don't know if this qualify me for student of the month but I am glad to share my experience thus far, with you.I can say the time spent with this college so far as brought back the enthusiasm I had for life and the great expectations I had for my my adult years.thanks for this opportunity to shine again. Recently had a few pc problems, but managed to solve the problem with the information I already had and various bits from the course, not the greatest achivement but it ment rebuilding the pc taking in the saftey notes and also the whole section about connectors etc. I started CCNA foundation - Netmaster Part a in December 2005; At that time I completed only the first marked assigment and I gave up for more than a Year. Then at 45, and with a first degree in Mathematics and Statistics but without any knowledge at all in Computing, I felt I was being left behind in this Computer era. I therefore took a courageous decision to do a degree course in Computing to become abreast with the times. Accordingly, in September 2004, I enrolled at the Peterborough Regional College to do a three-year degree course in Computing and Information Systems. I probably need to be a student for a while to get this, well I just started my ccna I have previously done a course on management of information systems. I got married in kenya just in December 2006 my wife is a full time student at leicester college hence she doesnt work thats why I have been force to take a home learning course so that I can continue with my work where I work as a support worker supporting three residents with learning disability, I do shift work so I try and do my work before or after work so far am doing well at it and managing though its tight on time as my wife doesnt work. I am getting on well with the course material provided and doing well with my TMA'S with the last one having scored 100percent. am giving it my best with the course and hope that I will sucessfully complete it.
